What is a Senior Photography Experience?

Senior year is a pretty big deal—and your senior portraits should feel like more than a quick stop for a headshot.

A Senior Photography Experience is designed to give you the time and space to capture all the different sides of who you are right now. Rather than trying to fit everything into one session, the experience includes three full sessions throughout the year: a studio session with indoor portraits and your yearbook headshot, plus two outdoor seasonal sessions, typically one in summer and another in fall or spring.

Individual senior sessions are also available and are perfect if you’re looking for a more focused, one-time portrait experience. Each session includes outfit changes and approximately an hour of photographer time. Most seniors can comfortably fit one or two outfit changes into that time, while additional time can be added when more involved hair, makeup, or styling changes are part of the plan.

Whichever option you choose, I want your portraits to feel like you.

That’s why I encourage seniors to bring the things that tell their story. Maybe it’s your best friend, your first car, a football helmet, your favorite instrument, or a collection of awards and medals. These little pieces of your life can turn beautiful portraits into photographs that actually mean something.
