The Gruevski Family


The world needs more girls who are willing to tackle it. Girls with big ideas, big personalities, and the confidence to take up space in this world.

These two girls are doing exactly that! They're trying all kinds of new things these days - softball, karate, drama, gymnastics.. you name it, and they could probably beat you at it! Watching them explore who they are and what they love was one of my favorite parts of this family's story!!

And honestly? That's exactly how I want my family photos to feel.

The best photographs from a family session don't always happen when everyone is standing perfectly still and looking at the camera. My favorite "poses" are often the ones that aren't really poses at all. They're the right moments when everyone is playing, laughing, moving, and enjoying each other.

Don't worry - I promise we'll get those rational family portraits too.. But then I want to give your kids permission to be themselves. Let them run. Let them be silly. Let them show off. Let them take up space.

So parents, please don't stress if your kids aren't standing still or looking at the camera every second.
