What you see in a finished photograph is only part of the story.
Senior photography doesn’t end when we wrap up the session. Once I’m behind my computer, the real artistry begins. Editing is where I take the images we created together and polish all those little details that help you become the center of attention..

For outdoor senior sessions, that might mean adjusting light and shadows to bring out beautiful evening glow, balancing the colors of the sky and surroundings, or making small distractions disappear. Sometimes the perfect photo is already there—we just need to help it shine.
In the studio, editing can completely transform an image. Backgrounds can be cleaned up, extended, or subtly changed to create more breathing room around the subject. Whether we’re working with a simple studio setup or a more creative backdrop, thoughtful editing helps create a finished portrait that feels intentional and polished.
And then there are the little things. A stray hair. An unexpected object in the background. Uneven lighting. Tiny distractions you may not have noticed during the session but that suddenly stand out when you look at the finished photograph.
My goal isn’t to make you look like someone else. It’s to make the photograph look like the very best version of the moment we captured.
Because your senior photos should feel like you—just with a little extra magic!
