Big Sister Meets Her Baby Brother
You could see the nerves on her face as she walked into the hospital room. She was about to meet her baby brother for the very first time, and there was so much anticipation packed into those little steps.
But then she saw him.
There he was, sleeping peacefully in his bassinet — tiny, sweet, and finally real. And just like that, the nervousness seemed to melt away.
She walked right over to him, completely captivated. While siblings sometimes arrive ready to steal the spotlight (and I certainly wouldn’t blame them!), she had eyes for only one person that day: **her baby brother.**
She wanted to see him, love on him, and take in every tiny detail of this new little person who had suddenly become such an important part of her world.
There’s something incredibly special about photographing that very first meeting. Before the chaos of everyday sibling life begins, there’s just wonder. A little bit of nervousness. And a whole lot of love.
These are the moments I love preserving — the beginning of a relationship they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives.
