Six Months of Baby Bob: A Children’s Spotlight Session

There’s something extra special about photographing a baby when you’ve known their mama for years.

Baby Bob’s mom and I went to high school together, so getting the chance to photograph her little guy at six months old felt like one of those full-circle moments I absolutely love.

She made the drive from Waterford, Michigan to my studio to celebrate this little milestone, and my oh my… was he stinking cute!

Those dimples. That unibrow. The sweetest little face that seemed to flirt with my camera every time I picked it up.

He spent part of our session trying his very best to eat his toes, flashing those big expressions, and generally being the six-month-old version of himself that I know his mama will want to remember forever.

That’s exactly what I love about a Spotlight Session. Sometimes you don't need another full session. You just need a few minutes to pause and document *this* version of your child—the dimples, the funny faces, the new tricks, and all the little details that won't be there forever.

And Baby Bob? I could have photographed that face all day.
